What you'll do:

As an Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our client's engineering practice. You will collaborate with teams across the organisation, ensuring that their product, platform, and ways of working continue to support their users as they grow. Your leadership will inspire your team to strive for excellence in all areas of their work. You'll also have the opportunity to recruit new talent into the team, further enhancing its capabilities. Your ability to build strong relationships will enable you to identify problems and propose effective solutions based on customer insights and data.

  • Provide leadership and people management to Engineers, promoting excellence in engineering practices using industry best-practices.
  • Drive improvements to our Engineering practice which ensure we continue to deliver measurable impact as we grow.
  • Create an environment where engineers can deliver consistent, high-quality products.
  • Coach and mentor the team, creating personal and professional development plans to attract and engage top talent.
  • Grow the engineering team by recruiting new engineers who align with the company's strong culture and values.
  • Build strong relationships with all members of the business to actively identify problems and propose solutions based on customer insights and data.

  • Proven experience in building, leading, and motivating technical teams.
  • Strong track record of technical delivery.
  • Significant experience in people management.
  • Flexibility and openness to change within a constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple activities concurrently.
  • Ability to bring innovative ideas to the table and drive them towards realisation.
