IT Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a seasoned IT Operations Manager to join their team in Auckland. This role is pivotal in the strategy planning, implementation, and performance of the IT function. You will be leading a team of dedicated professionals in a global company with a strong presence in the financial or insurance industry. The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of software engineering, infrastructure exposure, and expertise in distributed technologies.

You'll also manage infrastructure exposure and bring your experience from working in global companies to bear on our operations. Your expertise in distributed technologies such as SPP product, .NET C#, Angular, React, RESTful API, JSON and SOAP will be invaluable. Furthermore, you'll stay ahead of the curve by implementing cloud-based technologies.

• Minimum 12 years' experience in the IT industry
• At least 7 years' management experience
• Proven track record in strategy planning and implementation
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles
• Experience managing infrastructure exposure
• Experience working in a global company environment
• Expertise in distributed technologies: SPP product, .NET C#, Angular, React, RESTful API, JSON and SOAP.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies
