Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager ready to lead transformative change across a nationwide retail network? We are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Deployement Partner to drive the successful rollout of new technology and operating models across multiple locations.

About the Role

In this role, you will oversee the deployment of innovative solutions, including SAP systems, POS platforms, and a new operating model. You’ll work closely with store teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation, managing multiple workstreams such as learning, finance, data migration, and cutover activities.

This position requires extensive travel across New Zealand to support stores during critical deployment phases. You’ll play a key role in building trust with diverse stakeholders, navigating varying levels of enthusiasm for change, and ensuring project milestones are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in-store teams through the deployment process, ensuring seamless adoption of new systems and processes.
• Manage project plans and interdependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate with functional specialists to provide tailored support during deployments.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including store owners and external vendors.
• Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an Intermediate to Senior-level Project Manager with at least 5+ years of experience who thrives in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong stakeholder management skills to build trust with diverse groups of people.
• Experience working in retail environments; knowledge of SAP systems or POS systems is highly desirable.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills to manage complex projects with multiple streams.
• Adaptability and calmness under pressure when navigating challenges or resistance to change.
• A people-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.

Role Details

• Location: Albany offices. Nationwide travel required; flexible onsite/home arrangements during deployment periods (4 days onsite/1 day remote).
