EUC Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable EUC Engineer to join their team in Auckland. This role is integral to ensuring that IT Technology within the organisation is supported by a specialist who can deliver high-quality service and solutions to all stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of managing conflicting priorities and delivering on each occasion.


What you'll do:

As an EUC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting executives and the business team located within the support offices in Mt Wellington. You will also be responsible for ensuring the availability of service to over 500+ locations in Australia, New Zealand. Your passion for IT, exceptional customer service skills, and ability to work across technology boundaries will be key to your success in this role.

Manage engagement with technical operation leads located in Australia
Coordinate execution of project tasks with support from Technical Leads and Project Managers
Deliver weekly updates on support provided and progress
Ensure support office IT services are well maintained and operational
Provide priority assistance for on-site support at GPC and Motion Support Office
Manage IT Asset within the business and ensure compliance with standards
Maintain a strong focus on effective delivery of service to variable business units


What you bring:

The ideal EUC Engineer will bring a wealth of experience from an IT Support Role with multiple disciplines. Your proficiency in time & priority management, coupled with your expert knowledge in Active Directory and application patching via SCCM & Intune will be invaluable. Experience within a corporate Mac environment, asset management & tracking, and supporting remote handheld devices will further enhance your success in this role. Your excellent knowledge of Windows 11 Operating system & corporate applications, along with your expertise in creating knowledge base articles & keeping documentation, will be highly regarded.

Graduate diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
5+ years’ experience working in an IT Support Role with multiple disciplines
Proficient in time & priority management
Skilled in the use of Service Now for IT Service Management
Expert knowledge in Active Directory (Users, Groups, Policy)
Proficient in application patching and deployment via SCCM & Intune (BigFix experience desired)
Experience within a corporate Mac environment
Experience with asset management & tracking within corporate environment
Experience supporting remote handheld devices (Zebra, Honeywell)
Experience supporting office & store printer functionality
Experience in 0365 service management (Email, Teams & Office Apps)
Excellent knowledge of Windows 11 Operating system & corporate applications
Expert in creation of knowledge base articles & keeping documentation
