Expression of Interest - Data Engineering

• Lead the design and roadmap for enterprise data and analytics platforms.
• Oversee implementation across Azure, Snowflake, Teradata, and related tools.
• Define governance, data quality, and metadata management frameworks.
• Guide teams in modern data engineering, analytics, and BI practices.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape insights‑driven decision making.

• Strong understanding of modern e‑commerce platforms and their integrations.
• Experience with API‑driven architecture and cloud‑based systems.
• Ability to lead large multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Background in digital transformation or omnichannel environments preferred.

• Advanced experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or related tools.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, streaming pipelines, and ETL/ELT patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake or Teradata.
• Solid programming experience in Python

• Strong understanding of cloud integration (Azure Integration Services ideal).
• Expertise in Kafka and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience managing complex integration programmes.
• Ability to coach teams on best practice patterns and standards.

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure patterns.
• Exposure to data platforms or Kafka/Snowflake is a bonus
