About the role:
Our client is on the lookout for an Auckland based Performance Engineer who will be building tools to expedite, enhance and ease multiple aspects of performance analysis. You will also be playing a pivot role in debugging, analysing and quantifying complex production issues. This role will involve collaborating with Principal Engineers, Engineering Managers, Product Managers and mentoring junior developers.
Skills and experience:
To be successful in this role you should have over 5 years experience in application development or cloud related technologies as well as experience with large scale distributed systems. Other qualifications needed for consideration:
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure
- Experience with Data Science
- Web Application Development (SOAP or REST)
- Proficient in Java, C#, Python etc
- Experience with Automation e.g Jmeter, Postman, Loadrunner
- SQL experience
- Past work with Linux/Unix
