The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, remediating, and responding to information security risks and incidents across the organisation. What you'll do:

As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, managing, remediating, and responding to information security risks and incidents across the organisation. You will be tasked with identifying and prioritising appropriate information security process enhancements and technology uplifts. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the development of an annual Information Security Strategy and Work Programme. You will manage all residual security risks, incidents, and threats ensuring they are responded to appropriately. Furthermore, you will monitor the cyber-security landscape to ensure measures remain current and fit for purpose.

  • Identify and prioritise appropriate information security process and technology uplifts
  • Support the development of annual Information Security Strategy and Work Programme
  • Manage and deliver identified security projects within the annual work programme
  • Enhance, implement, and maintain security governance processes and practices
  • Manage all residual security risks, incidents and threats ensuring they are responded to appropriately
  • Monitor the cyber-security landscape to ensure measures remain current and fit for purpose


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Process Engineer position will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. She should have an understanding of Information Security concepts and practices, risk management principles, frameworks, as well as a strong baseline ICT understanding. Knowledge of security for cloud and hybrid environments is essential. Experience in defining Cyber-Security processes such as Certification and Accreditation is highly desirable. Excellent time management, prioritisation skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of Information Security concepts and practices
  • Knowledge of security for cloud and hybrid environments
