What you'll do:

As a Senior Automation Tester, you will play a pivotal role in leading critical and lateral thinking for test design. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised as you collaborate with developers and foster a common understanding of business requirements within your team. You will also contribute significantly towards enhancing user experience. Engaging in agile ceremonies will be part of your daily routine while also supporting non-testing tasks to meet team commitments. • Lead critical and lateral thinking for test design, ensuring effective risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with developers to create automated checks using existing tools.

• Clearly communicate defects to the business and your agile team.
• Contribute to a collective focus on user experience.
• Engage in agile ceremonies while supporting non-testing tasks to meet team commitments.
• Lead testing principles and practices within your agile team.
• Stay current with updates in testing, agile practices, and emerging technologies for solution delivery.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Automation Tester role brings along extensive automation testing experience in an agile environment. Your strong communication and leadership skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with developers and other team members. Proficiency in reading and debugging code for white-box testing such as AWS and React is essential. Your expertise in UI and API testing, coupled with your ability to create and maintain automation test suites using various testing frameworks, will be highly valued. Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript, Java, Groovy is a must. Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles will further enhance your candidacy.

• 7+ years of automation testing experience in an agile environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and debug code for white-box testing: AWS, React.
• Proficiency in UI and API testing.
• Expertise in creating and maintaining automation test suites using various testing frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Mocha/Jest.
• Proficiency in programming languages: Typescript, Java, Groovy.
• Experience with source code management systems - Ex: git, Bitbucket, Github.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.
