Senior Full-Stack Developer

Our client is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join their dynamic team in Wellington. What you'll do:

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop, lead, and implement solutions that meet agreed requirements within a mini-apps architecture. You'll maintain, develop, and deploy applications using springboot java while taking a leadership role in agile ceremonies. Your commitment to improving user experience will be evident as you drive initiatives within the team. You'll also mentor team members in development best practices while monitoring production incidents for assigned applications.

• Develop, lead, and implement solutions to fulfil agreed requirements within a mini-apps architecture.
• Maintain, develop and deploy applications and APIs developed in springboot java.
• Take a leadership role in agile ceremonies, including stand up, retrospective, planning, and demos.
• Contribute to a shared focus on user experience and drive initiatives to improve it.
• Aid in leading activities, including development, testing, and release within the squad.
• Mentor and guide team members in development and documentation best practices.
• Monitor and resolve production incidents for assigned applications, leading the team in diagnosis, testing, and applying fixes.

What you bring:

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you bring a wealth of experience in delivering enterprise applications. Your practical knowledge of REACT, Typescript, JavaScript, Java and springboot will be invaluable to our team. You're familiar with JSON and YAML and have experience with unit testing frameworks such as junit and Jest. Your experience building and deploying code via Ci/CD pipeline, managing AWS, and designing Restful APIs sets you apart. Your ability to communicate ideas clearly and your experience with automated test frameworks such as playwright or cypress will be key to your success in this role.

• 7+ years of experience as a full-stack developer delivering enterprise applications.
• Practical experience with REACT, Typescript, JavaScript, Java and springboot.
• Familiarity with JSON and YAML.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as junit and Jest.
• Experience building and deploying code via Ci/CD pipeline.
• Hands-on experience managing and configuring AWS.
• Proven experience designing and developing Restful APIs.
• Experience designing technical solutions and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Proven ability to communicate ideas and designs clearly and concisely.
• Experience using automated test frameworks such as playwright or cypress.
