Our client is seeking a Senior Back End Developer. This role offers the opportunity to work with Open Banking APIs and Enterprise APIs, contributing to the transformation of the banking industry. The successful candidate will be part of an Agile Team, working in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment. This role provides the chance to be involved in the full software development life cycle, from feature planning and estimation, through development, to delivery, testing and support.

What you'll do:

• Be part of a delivery team leading the way with Open Banking APIs and Enterprise APIs.
• Analyse business processes, procedures and user requirements to establish technical system design.
• Write quality, maintainable code with extensive test coverage.
• Ensure system documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide guidance and support to peers through code reviews and technical leadership.

What you bring:

• 7+ years' experience in development and maintenance of technology applications.
• Advanced Java Springboot capability.
• Experience with REST-based API design and development.
• Experience with AWS, OpenShift, Kong, Kafka, Active MQ, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Jenkins CI automation or other CI/CD tools.
• Proven ability to communicate ideas and designs clearly and concisely.
• Prior financial services & banking experience is a MUST!
