Legal Counsel

An exciting fixed-term opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join our team, supporting our operations across Australia and New Zealand. What you'll do: * Manage the Legal ANZ inbox and delegate legal matters amongst the Legal team * Contract drafting, review and negotiation of legal documents for the delivery of recruitment services and related professional services in Australia and New Zealand including: * Reviewing private and public sector client services agreements, MSAs, tender documentation, variations and extensions, NDAs and statements of work * Reviewing requested amendments to Robert Walters’ Terms and Conditions * Reviewing marketing contracts, including sponsorship agreements, competition T&Cs, event T&Cs * Preparing Australian Labour Hire Licenses and Recruitment Agency Licenses reporting, applications and renewals, updating licence register for ANZ region * Advising on fee disputes and contractual interpretation
What you bring:
- Demonstrated experience as a solicitor with 3-4+ years PQE.
- Proven ability to work dependably with limited supervision while maintaining meticulous attention to detail across all tasks.
- Ability to research legislation thoroughly, interpret its implications accurately for business operations, and keep up-to-date with changes in law affecting commercial practice.
- Commercially focussed approach combined with solutions-based thinking when advising on legal practice matters.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills that allow you to interact efficiently and courteously with staff members as well as clients.
