An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate to join a leading firm in Auckland. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract position within the litigation team, offering the chance to work on high-profile cases and gain invaluable experience. What you'll do:
As an Associate in Litigation, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of running matters independently. Your day-to-day tasks will involve preparing legal documents, conducting thorough research, representing clients in court, and maintaining open lines of communication with clients. You'll also work closely with your team, sharing knowledge and supporting each other's caseloads. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and inclusive environment.


• Manage and run litigation matters independently
• Prepare legal documents and draft pleadings
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on case progress
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective case management

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Senior Solicitor to Associate level with a proven litigation background, demonstrating the ability to manage cases independently. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective client communication, while excellent research abilities will underpin your case preparation. A commitment to collaborative teamwork will ensure you fit seamlessly into our inclusive culture. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks will be key in this fast-paced environment.
