Senior Solicitor - Senior Associate, Commercial Litigation

Join a high performing commercial litigation team at a top tier National firm in Auckland. This team has a high volume of work and are looking to grow. This role offers the chance to work on some of the most high-level and complex commercial litigation matters, with a range of blue chip and listed clients. Within the role, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers and fast track your career underneath well-known, experienced partners. Key Responsibilities:

• Work across a variety of commercial litigation matters including:
• Financial services and insolvency; property; construction; company; judicial review and intellectual property:
• Appear in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court;
• Advisory work;
• Work closely with Partners on complex matters, and collaborate with wider team.

To be successful in this role you must:

• Have 4+ PQE, with experience in commercial and/or civil litigation, although all applications will be assessed on merit;
• Great advocacy and litigation skills;
• Strong leadership and the ability to mentor juniors;
• Ideally have knowledge in financial services and insolvency litigation, as well as, property, construction, company, judicial review and intellectual property disputes;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
