Senior Associate

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Associate with a strong focus on civil litigation and insurance law. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established specialist firm, located in the heart of Auckland city. What you'll do:
As a Senior Associate, your primary responsibility will be managing insurance litigation cases. You will represent defendants in insurance-related disputes, working closely with your team to develop and execute case strategies. Your role will also involve providing expert legal advice to clients on their insurance claims and advocating for them in negotiations and occasionally, court hearings. Staying informed on the latest laws and regulations in insurance litigation will be key to your success in this position.

What you bring:
• At least 7 years PQE in insurance litigation;
• Proven experience representing defendants in litigation cases;
• Strong knowledge of insurance litigation laws and regulations;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment;
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
