Senior Solicitor/Associate

Our client, a national law firm renowned for attracting complex legal work and top-tier lawyers, is seeking a Senior Solicitor/Associate to join their growing commercial litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad variety of international and domestic work providing an exciting challenge for those looking to expand their legal expertise.

The firm offers above market salaries, flexible working arrangements and international secondment opportunities. For any candidates considering a move overseas the firm can also offer introductions to overseas offices after two years with the firm.

Key responsibilities:

• General commercial litigation, from insolvency matters and debt collection to complex contractual disputes;
• Advising on contract disputes, fair dealing, ESG, greenwashing and climate litigation risk;
• Advising clients on commercial disputes and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on banking and financial services;
• Mentoring junior staff.

What you bring:

• At least 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
• Experience in a civil or commercial litigation team
• Strong academic background
• Excellent drafting skills
• Proficient in research and discovery tasks
• Experience in mediation and dispute resolution
