Solicitor or Senior Solicitor

We are looking for a solicitor or senior solicitor to join a leading Wellington based firm. You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile matters across local government and environmental law.

About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

You will be at the forefront of local government and environmental law. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing legal advice across matters including but not limited to, urban development, infrastructure delivery freshwater management, and local government work.

What you will bring | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu

• 3-8 years of post-admission experience
• Local government experience is desirable, however strong public law or environmental law experience acquired in central government is also useful.
• If you are a qualified lawyer that has acquired experience in the planning space and would now like to move into law, we would also like to hear from you.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Motivated to learn and develop within the firm
• Ability to effectively manage priorities
• Commonwealth qualified
