You will be actively encouraged to build your profile, skill set and client base, with a genuine opportunity to progress to a director role in due course.
The position will have a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions. However, the successful candidate will also be encouraged and enabled to work across other corporate and commercial areas. You will bring experience and expertise with respect to all or some of the following areas:
- mergers and acquisitions
- corporate restructuring
- joint ventures and strategic alliances
- receiverships
- securities law
- shareholder arrangements
- corporate governance
This role is full-time, but the firm is flexible in the way it operates, and part-time or flexible working options will be considered. The firm offers a competitive market salary in line with top-tier salaries as well as a discretionary bonus scheme and other incentives.
What you will bring | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu
- 3-8 years of post-admission experience
- Mergers and acquisitions experience
- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
- An ability to work through complex issues with great organisational skills
- An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
- Qualified in New Zealand or a Commonwealth jurisdiction with a strong academic record
Please note, while 3-8 PQE is the ideal range, those that have more or less experience will be considered.
