The firm is recruiting for a motivated and ambitious Property Solicitor looking to further their career in commercial property to join their high performing property and development team.

The team is spearheaded by one of the most prominent names in the industry, Alan Paterson. Alan is well known for his high calibre of work and extensive industry experience, having worked on major projects across the Auckland and wider New Zealand market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake legal research, drafting, advising and negotiation
• Manage property transactions and give general property management advice
• Work on property acquisitions, divestments, development and construction, subdivisions, leasing and title issues
• Involvement in Public Works Act issues and overseas investment approvals
• The exact responsibilities of the role will vary depending on the experience of the successful candidate

Key Requirements:

• 2 – 6 years PQE
• Qualified New Zealand Solicitor
• Top tier, relevant specific industry experience
• Exceptional academic achievement
• Superior technical skillset
• Professional presentation and the ability to engage confidently and effectively with clients
