Senior Solicitor / Associate - Commercial Property

Our client is seeking a Senior Solicitor/Associate to join their high-performing Commercial Property team based in Auckland. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced lawyer with 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to work as part of a large national team. The successful candidate will enjoy client contact, manage end-to-end work-flow, produce well-drafted legal documents, and have the opportunity to further develop their career. They are committed to creating a supportive environment where shared knowledge, development, and mentoring are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property and business acquisitions and disposals
  • Commercial leasing
  • Entity formation and restructuring
  • Contract drafting and negotiations

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 4+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) within a Commercial Property team: if you think you are a close fit to the above, but are slightly short in the experience required, we still encourage you to reach out and explore this opportunity
  • Motivated and ambitious with a focus on delivering exceptional legal advice
  • Ability to cultivate client relationships, delivering results, instilling confidence, and securing repeat business
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide effective legal support
  • Experience in managing end-to-end work-flow to deliver efficiently on client requests
