Junior Lawyer / Solicitor

What you'll do:
- Draft and provide advice on business sale agreements, leases, and service contracts for clients operating in various industries.
- Advise clients on company constitutions, shareholder agreements, director duties, and other corporate governance matters.
- Support clients with intellectual property issues including trademarks, copyright registrations, and patent applications.
- Address land use concerns by advising on zoning regulations and planning issues relevant to client projects.
- Assist clients in resolving ownership disputes, boundary disagreements, and contractual conflicts through careful analysis and negotiation.
What you bring:
- A Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) with admission as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand or eligibility for admission within the next six months is required for this role.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in commercial law and property law, particularly drafting business sale agreements and service contracts.
- Strong written communication skills for preparing clear legal documents as well as verbal skills for effective client interaction.
- A collaborative approach that values teamwork and knowledge sharing within the firm’s culture of supportiveness.
- High level of organisation with proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
