Commercial Property Solicitor

What you'll do:
- Provide expert legal advice on property transactions, commercial contracts (exposure to construction projects and regulatory matters is a benefit).
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements related to property acquisitions, disposals, leasing arrangements, and commercial operations.
- Support clients through all stages of property development projects by advising on compliance requirements, risk management strategies, and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs in commercial property law.
- Represent clients in negotiations with stakeholders such as developers, contractors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure favourable outcomes.
- Conduct thorough legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and industry standards to inform advice and decision-making processes.
What you bring:
- Current New Zealand practising certificate or the ability to obtain one
- Demonstrated experience in commercial property law, gained within a reputable firm
- Ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts relating to property transactions or commercial operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams while building positive relationships with clients.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research using relevant statutes, regulations, case law databases, and industry resources.
