Communications Manager - 6 month contract

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager for a 6 month contract in Auckland. This role involves creating key communication materials, managing campaigns, collaborating on multiple projects, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will also occasionally assist with marketing-related events and logistics.

What you'll do:
As a Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client's brand image and fostering business growth. Tracking the effectiveness of your communications will be essential for continuous improvement. You'll also plan, develop, and execute communication plans while keeping an eye on emerging trends in communication approaches. Your commitment to personal development will ensure your knowledge remains current. Additionally, you'll lend your expertise to event planning when necessary.

• Design and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the organisation's objectives
• Develop high-quality communications, demonstrating an understanding of our audiences and channels

• Significant relevant experience in a similar role
• Experience writing, editing, and copy checking executive communications, articles, media releases, social posts, talking points, and scripts
• Experience working with senior management
• Experience executing communication plans and campaigns to support engagement and strategy
• Experience running events
• Experience working cross-functionally on large projects within tight deadlines
• A digital mindset and experience communicating on digital platforms
