About the role:
As an important member of FMANZ’s small but dynamic operations team, you will play a key role in propelling the organisation forward and building awareness of a multi-billion dollar industry that is at the forefront of ensuring our public spaces and workplaces are safe, healthy, sustainable, productive and fit-for-purpose.
This position is centered around leading and executing the organisation's communication and brand activities. The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive communication and brand plans, programs, and activities. This includes management of the website, social and digital media, newsletters, and event communications, as well as media relations, PR, and external membership communications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Brand and Communications Planning - Develop and deliver an engaging brand and communications plan
- Industry and Membership Communications - Plan and coordinate all membership communications including newsletters, event invitations, surveys, annual reports and policy documents
- Digital channel management - Ensure the FMANZ website and digital channels deliver the functionality and performance to meet our members’ and organisation’s needs
- Content Management - Manage the content of the FMANZ website, including the development of content including articles, blogs, and new ideas to ensure brand alignment and accuracy
- Digital marketing and reporting - Develop relevant digital campaigns for FMANZ to raise the profile and awareness of the brand and organisation across
- Media, Advocacy and PR - Support our advocacy programmes by proactively identifying media opportunities and effectively responding to media enquiries
- Events support - Support our events manager with communications processes, including attending events as required and supporting speakers with presentation guidelines and promotion
Key requirements:
- Strong written and communication skills – your primary purpose will be to communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to take sometimes complex information and craft it into simplified, key messages for relevant audiences
- A social and digital media guru - or drive to a become one - including website and CRM system interfaces
- Friendly helpful working style and an exceptionally good team player who likes rolling their sleeves up to get outcomes
