About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales & Marketing Manager will manage B2B clientele including some of NZ’s iconic skincare and beauty brands sold into major retailers in the gift, pharmacy, health, tourist, department store and grocery channels.
You will be responsible for customer development of both their well established existing accounts as well as identification and pursuit of new customers. You will ensure that sales and cost budgets are met, and manage marketing, sales and category plans of the portfolio. This is a newly created position with great opportunity to grow a business segment with immense potential.

Key responsibilities:
- Account management of existing customer base and business development of prospective customers
- Develop account plans that optimise trade spend and grow sales with nominated accounts
- Manage marketing, development & growth of the ‘Shieling’ brand in the NZ market
- Manage and identify new product development / new technology investment opportunities
- Australian and Chinese market development
- Generalist marketing of the brand through digital platforms, local/international trade shows and capability presentations
Key requirements:
- 5+ years account management and market development experience within a manufacturing business
- Proven B2B sales and marketing experience with exposure to skincare, cosmetics, personal care and healthcare categories would be highly regarded
- Strong financial management capabilities – forecasting, pricing, margin management
- Advanced Excel skills, strong IT literacy
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills
