Quantity Surveyor

What you'll do:

• You will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.
• Your role will involve seeking to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
• You will be preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Your excellent communication skills will be utilised in liaising with contractors and clients.
• You will be involved in undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• You will assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.

What you bring:

• You possess a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Your previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry is essential.
• Your strong knowledge of construction methods and materials is highly desirable.
• Your excellent numeracy skills and financial management ability are crucial for this role.
• Your ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of people is essential.
• Your excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations within the construction industry is necessary.
