We are seeking Advisors for Ministerial Services teams in permanent, fixed term and contract capacities.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing comprehensive Ministerial services, including the release of information to Ministers and Parliament. These roles require a sophisticated understanding of the Machinery of Government, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

What you'll do:

• Provide timely, comprehensive, and tailored Ministerial services
• Manage, process, and draft responses to requests for information and Ministerial correspondence
• Work collaboratively with employees across the Ministry to ensure that responses meet statutory requirements
• Identify and manage the response to complex and sensitive communications requests
• Maintain positive in-person stakeholder relationships and effective networks
• Thrive in a fast-paced and time-bound environment

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Advisor, Ministerial Services role will bring strong organisational and coordination skills. Your ability to prioritise effectively will enable you to manage multiple items of work at one time. A strong customer focus is essential, along with superior oral communication and writing skills. You should have a solid understanding of public sector arrangements and processes. At least one year of experience as an advisor working in a Ministerial team is required.
