We are seeking highly skilled professionals to fill a range of high level advisory, strategic, and leadership roles across multiple organisations. These positions offer the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives, provide expert advice at the executive level, and contribute to shaping organisational direction and system-level change.
About the Roles:
These roles sit at the heart of decision-making and strategy within their respective organisations. You will work closely with senior leaders, including Chief Executives and Deputy Chief Executives, to provide high-level advice, lead cross-cutting initiatives, lead important projects and ensure alignment between organisational priorities and broader system goals. Key responsibilities may include:
- Providing expert advice on complex policy, regulatory, or organisational matters.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, Ministers, iwi/Māori partners, and other government agencies.
- Managing or contributing to large-scale projects involving research, analysis, fiscal modelling, and reporting.
- Representing Senior leadership for organisational or initiative strategies
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking candidates with:
- Proven experience in senior advisory, strategy, or leadership roles within the public sector at a high-level Principal, Lead, Chief Advisor, Director, or General Manager level.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience leading or contributing to complex projects from design to delivery.
- Experience working to a Chief Executive or Deputy Chief Executive.
- Competence and experience working with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills for preparing briefings, reports, and executive papers.
- Political acumen, sound judgement, and the ability to navigate ambiguity confidently.
