We are recruiting a Policy Analyst to work in Māori policy for a well regarded Government Organisation.

We are seeking a motivated Policy Analyst to contribute to the development of innovative policies that support Māori communities across Aotearoa. This role is part of a team focused on addressing critical challenges, with a particular emphasis on improving outcomes for Māori.
This is an opportunity to be part of a team that values Manaakitanga, Whānaungatanga, Kaitiakitanga, and Kotahitanga, while working on stimulating projects that make a real difference in the lives of communities.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about contributing to better outcomes for Māori.
- Has existing analytical or policy skills and is eager to further develop them in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
- Thrives in a supportive team setting with a diverse and stimulating work programme.
- Has experience working in/with Māori communities (this would be highly advantageous).
- Demonstrates cultural competency and an understanding of tikanga Māori, te reo Māori, and kaupapa Māori principles.
