ICT Procurement Category Manager

About the Role:

This is a strong technology focused practitioner role with the primary purpose of supporting the developing and executing innovative category solutions through building on external partnerships to deliver sustainable value and collaborating with internal business partners to deliver on customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage assigned categories of spend in alignment with agreed business objectives, category strategy / plan and in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Leading tender processes in support of enterprise service/vendor strategy
• Delivery of productivity initiatives inherent in commercial arrangements
• Completing and supporting supplier assessments, negotiation and on-going contract management
• Supporting business leaders to ensure that suppliers continue to deliver to expectation and working relationships are developed and maintained

Key Requirements:

• Extensive technology procurement experience in a complex corporate environment is essential to this role.
• Experience with software and application procurement highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management influencing and management of senior management, consultants and third party providers.
• Experience working within a Procurement Category Management model preferred.
