Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator for a short-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of documentation, managing contract details, and inputting meta-data into Oracle. While training will be provided, prior experience and familiarity with Oracle, contracts, and intermediate Excel skills are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a keen eye for detail, comfortable liaising with vendors, and capable of problem-solving when discrepancies arise. This role requires a degree of tenacity, courage, and robustness as the results of your work will be used for reporting at a senior level.

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator for a short-term contract.

What you'll do:

As a Procurement Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing purchase orders and related contracts. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all contract documentation is accurate for creating purchase orders in Oracle. You will also manage contract details meticulously, input meta-data into Oracle efficiently, and liaise comfortably with vendors and team members to clarify any uncertainties. Your ability to problem-solve effectively when discrepancies arise will be key to your success in this role. Furthermore, you will prepare accurate reports that will be used for senior-level presentations.

  • Ensure all contract documentation is accurate to create a purchase order in Oracle
  • Manage contract details meticulously to ensure accuracy
  • Input meta-data into Oracle efficiently and accurately
  • Liaise comfortably with vendors and team members to clarify any uncertainties

What you bring:

The ideal Procurement Administrator brings a wealth of skills to our team. You have experience with Oracle or similar systems and are familiar with contracts. Your intermediate Excel skills allow you to manage data efficiently. You're known for your quick learning abilities and can adapt to new systems effortlessly. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to identify discrepancies and find effective solutions swiftly. You're comfortable liaising with vendors, negotiating terms, and asking questions when needed. Above all, your keen eye for detail ensures that all tasks are completed accurately and meticulously.
