Our client is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join their team. This role plays a crucial part in the implementation of strategies through the support of key business opportunities with suppliers. The successful candidate will be involved in collaborating with procurement teams, evaluating proposals, and negotiating with suppliers. What you'll do:

As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our client's Strategy & Investment, Data & Digital team. Your primary responsibilities will include developing plans in collaboration with procurement teams, drafting contract terms for RFPs, evaluating proposals, and negotiating with suppliers. You will also be expected to work closely with legal teams on complex terms to ensure contracts are finalised efficiently. Furthermore, you will be responsible for reviewing both large and small contracts as part of the sign-off processes. Your expertise will extend to drafting base content for statements of work and managed services agreements. Additionally, you will review software and SaaS contracts, ensuring they meet standard requirements.

• Collaborate with procurement teams to develop plans
• Negotiate with suppliers and work closely with legal teams on complex terms
• Ensure contracts are finalised efficiently
• Review both large and small contracts as part of sign-off processes
• Draft base content for statements of work and managed services agreements


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Manager position brings a wealth of experience and skills to the table. You should possess a relevant graduate along with at least ten years of business experience. A minimum of five years' experience in commercial contract management or advanced procurement is essential. Excellent written English skills are required for drafting contract terms and other related documents. A sound understanding of procurement processes is necessary, along with a solid grasp of legal terms and technology industry contracting norms. Furthermore, you should have a good understanding of technology implementation contracts, support agreements, software and SaaS agreements.

• Possess a relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification
• Have at least ten years of business experience
• Have at least five years of commercial contract management or advanced procurement experience
• Sound understanding of procurement processes
• Sound understanding of legal terms and technology industry contracting norms
• Understanding of technology implementation contracts, support agreements, software and SaaS agreements
