Senior Procurement Manager

Acting as a trusted advisor and commercial business partner, you’ll be responsible for managing high-value procurement activities and delivering strategic sourcing outcomes across a diverse portfolio of goods and services, in the ICT space. This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to make a tangible impact on procurement performance and organisational value

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies, procurement pipelines, and vendor plans.

• Manage major procurement activities (contract value >$100K), including market engagement and vendor selection.

• Provide expert commercial advice and support on complex procurement matters and contract risk.

• Lead contract negotiations and establish robust supplier agreements.

• Support contract owners with supplier performance monitoring, commercial compliance, and reporting.

• Contribute to procurement policy development and uplift procurement capability across the business.

• Build strong internal and external relationships and represent the organisation in industry and government forums.

What You’ll Bring

• 5–10 years' experience in ICT procurement and commercial contract management at a senior level.

• Proven expertise in leading high-value, complex sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.

• Sound understanding of procurement risk, financial analysis, and commercial frameworks.

• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills.

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Commerce, Law) and/or CIPS certification (or working towards).

• Strong private sector expereince.
