Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for asset and maintenance management? Our client is seeking a Maintenance Lead to manage major maintenance projects, ensuring the safety, cost-effectiveness, and compliance of fuel terminal assets. This role involves close collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to maintain and enhance long-term asset value.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and continuously improve a strategic asset management plan.
• Create and manage an asset management plan with a 15-year outlook.
• Oversee major maintenance budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting.
• Oversee annual inspection plans and execute maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Ensure spare parts management for an appropriate level of stock.
• Ensure asset performance standards are up-to-date.
• Engage with Project Engineers for significant maintenance work.
• Maintain a MEX Computerised Maintenance Management System.
• Manage short-term project plans, including budgets and compliance standards.
• Support key initiatives, digital engineering framework and risk-based inspection.
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven experience in developing and implementing asset and maintenance management strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end maintenance projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on solutions and outcomes.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage inventory.
• Experience with safety management systems in a safety-critical environment.
• Flexibility to travel across New Zealand as required.
