Broker Support - Commercial

We are seeking two dedicated and detail-oriented Broker Support Specialists to join our clients well established team. This role is integral to delivering a superior client experience, contributing to continued growth and market reputation. You will provide comprehensive one-to-one broker support for fire and general insurance and risk management-related services and offering client advice within your delegated authority. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration, excellent time management skills, and the ability to connect with a range of people.

What you'll do:
As a Broker Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive one-to-one support to a commercial broker. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing new policies, alterations, endorsements, and renewals according to broker instructions. You will also prepare premium funding agreements and manage the collection of premiums within company guidelines. Your commitment to staying updated with industry developments will ensure that you meet professional development requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for these Broker Support Specialist roles will have previous experience in a similar Broker Support / Account Executive role, ideally within commercial insurance, with proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office 365. A deep understanding of New Zealand insurance policies and regulations is essential for the role as well as excellent communication skills, time management skills and an organised and disciplined approach to work. New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services L5 or equivalency (or working towards it).
