This Risk and Reporting Adviser position will provide expert advice to enable effective risk management and optimise performance. The Adviser supports the organisation by achieving its vision by providing operational and tactical advice to the Risk Manager

About the role:

The risk advisor is accountable for ensuring optimal compliance across all of the organisation’s systems and is responsible for the delivery of compliance and enforcement services across certain products and all other legislation administered by the government organisation.
The Risk Advisor also supports the organisation by achieving its vision by providing “go to” support and practical advice on processes in the Compliance Services Risk Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Active collaboration and sharing of information and knowledge
• Support the reduction of non-compliance with risk management controls by providing advice and guidance to internal stakeholders
• Support the development and implementation of tools to assess and monitor risk management practices and outcomes within Compliance Services

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines or experience
• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships and consultations with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent judgement and analytical skills, with a particular application emphasis in the public sector
• Ability to make timely decisions with incomplete information under tight deadlines and pressure
