Commercial Insurance Broker Opportunities

What you'll do:

As an experienced Commercial Broker or Senior Commercial Broker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing an established portfolio of commercial clients, understanding their unique insurance needs, and providing them with tailored solutions. You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments, negotiate favourable policy terms with underwriters, and stay abreast of industry trends to provide proactive advice. Your excellent communication skills will be key in presenting insurance proposals and addressing client inquiries. You will also positively contribute to the supportive team environment where you will share your expertise and if at a senior level, provide mentorship to others around you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage and grow a well-established portfolio of commercial clients, assessing their insurance needs and developing tailored insurance programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop strategies to maximise opportunities with clients.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate favourable terms and conditions for insurance policies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging risks, providing proactive advice to clients.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, effectively communicating the benefits and coverage details.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a FS Level 5 Qualification,.
  • Senior Commercial Brokers should have 10-15+ years of experience.
  • Commercial Brokers should have 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of commercial clients.
