Overview of the company:
Our clients are a global manufacturer of high-quality yarn who supply customers worldwide. They’re a medium-sized company, employing just over 3,200 people and they are looking to expand their business across the Australasia market.
About the role:
Working closely with a Sales Director based in Germany you will play a pivotal role in representing and being the main point of contact for some of the company’s biggest clients across Australia and New Zealand. This is an exciting and fast-paced role which will see you travel across the globe quite often.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively promote and sell company products across Australia and New Zealand
- Implementing sales strategies and targets
- Visiting and presenting at trade fairs worldwide
- General management tasks such as preparing offers, corresponding with customers and head office, following up on orders.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in sales position, ideally within the garment/textile industry
- Commercially astute with an understanding of technical contexts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Someone who is outgoing, creative and who relishes a challenge
