About the Company Here at Sky Windows, we operate independently from the local manufacturers. We run our own European style profile of aluminium that is designed specifically and primarily for the New Zealand market, and tested to the highest standards. The ability for us to complete in house testing at our factory allows us to provide the best products prior to official testing and release to the market. Owning our own factory also allows us to ensure the joinery is of high-quality while being able to adapt to the market demands. We work closely with our commercial clients around the design of their project to ensure that the windows and doors meet their site-specific requirements, with façade testing as well as seismic frame options. We also have the option for prototypes to be manufactured during the design process. Sky Windows’ products are quality assured by CodeMark with a ten-year warranty. CodeMark is a voluntary product certification scheme that provides an easily understood and robust way to show a building product meets the requirements of the New Zealand Building Code. We are able to provide high quality aluminium joinery for the international market as well, with commercial clients based throughout the world including Australia, Canada and USA.
About the Role
Sky Windows now have an opening for a sales representative to join the high-performing team of sales professionals.
The sales representative will be responsible for negotiating both commercial and residential deals on the Sky Windows product range within the Wellington region, as well as other regions within New Zealand where required.
Role Responsibilities
- Developing sales opportunities nationwide.
- Meeting sales budgets and set KPI’s
- Retaining existing customers
- Effective communication to both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders around business operations
Role Requirements
- Be an outstanding communicator that can build rapport at all levels
- Be able to manage a sales call cycle autonomously and successfully
- Possess a self-motivated and keen attitude and willingness to learn the technicalities of the products, and use this to sell the right solution
- Prior experience in the window/ building industry will be helpful
- Ability to develop and retain commercial customers
- Ability for business travel when essential
