Our client, a leading global law firm, with stunning CBD offices, is seeking a Workplace & Property Advisor to join their dynamic team in Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational aspects of running the premises, catering and event coordination. You will also play a key role in presenting the face of the firm, ensuring all visitors feel welcome on arrival, you will pride yourself on your professional presentation and friendly can-do attitude!
Key responsibilities:
As a Workplace & Property Advisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's premises. You will be responsible for coordinating office services and catering for all their office cocktail parties, boardroom lunches, staff drinks and other client functions.
* Manage operational aspects of running the premises
* Coordinate office services and catering
* Provide professional reception cover as required
* Engage with external suppliers to ensure best services and prices
* Assist with catering events such as cocktail parties, boardroom lunches, staff drinks nights and various office functions when required
Key attributes we are looking for:
The ideal candidate for the Workplace & Property Advisor role brings a wealth of experience from a similar position within a corporate professional services environment or hospitality/hotel industry. Your strong communication skills will enable you to liaise effectively with both internal partners and external clients. You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) which aids your ability to manage tasks efficiently. Your problem-solving abilities allow you to identify issues systematically and find effective solutions. With excellent planning and organising skills, you can manage your daily workload effectively.
* Experience in a similar position within a corporate professional services environment or front of house hotel industry
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to identify and systematically resolve problems
* Excellent event planning and organising skills
* Ability to work well on own initiative and pro-actively extend own knowledge base in relevant areas
