My client is a New Zealand founded, fast-growing and independent retailer and are seeking to find a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join their collaborative and close-knit team for an initial 12-month FTC, where you will provide essential technical support to ensure smooth business operations.
Reporting to the Corporate IT Manager, in this newly created role you will be supporting the business in it’s delivery of the customer value promise, financial targets and growth aspirations by enabling all work to be delivered effectively, promoting process efficiencies across the entire business!
Day-to-day, you will:
Provide end-user hardware and software support, including laptops, peripherals, mobile phones, and desktop applications.
Administer user accounts and ensure end-user assets are maintained and updated.
Support network-attached devices, such as printers and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
Respond to user requests for support with the ERP system, escalating as necessary.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
Assist with IP Telephony administration and support.
Promote and adhere to cyber-security policies and procedures.
Build positive relationships across the organisation and actively contribute to a high-performing culture.
What you'll need:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role in a corporate IT or infrastructure environment.
Qualifications in IT or a related field are highly regarded.
Proven ability to administer technology systems and infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime.
Experience working collaboratively on IT-related projects and delivering within budget and timelines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Azure AD and MS 365 Cloud Services administration.
Experience with ERP Systems, preferably in an end-user support capacity.
