This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth operation of all facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Repairs and Maintenance Technician, preparing and managing budgets, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle physically demanding tasks, think creatively, and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
What you'll do:
As a Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all sites. Your responsibilities will include developing maintenance plans, controlling departmental expenses, managing contractual obligations, maintaining compliance schedules, enforcing routine maintenance checklists, responding to requests in a timely manner, participating in refurbishment projects, coordinating site security, ensuring health & safety rights are upheld, and complying with company policies. Your ability to handle physically demanding tasks, coupled with your excellent organisational skills and problem-solving abilities will ensure success in this role.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Facilities Manager position brings previous trade experience or experience in a Maintenance leadership position. You have an understanding of Health and Safety regulations and knowledge of the Building Code and compliance requirements. Your excellent organisation and time management skills, coupled with your well-developed problem-solving skills, will enable you to excel in this role. You are able to communicate confidently and positively with a wide range of people, including patients, visitors, staff and external contractors. Your ability to handle physically demanding tasks, reliability, self-motivation and creative thinking will be key to your success.
