Business Operations Project Manager

A major transformation programme is underway, and we’re looking for a contract Business Operations Project Manager to lead the charge on operational readiness, governance, and implementation activities. 💼

This isn’t your typical PM role—it’s a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of programme delivery and business operations, ensuring alignment between evolving requirements, risks, dependencies, and delivery activities as the future operating model takes shape.

💡 What You’ll Be Doing:
✅ Manage day-to-day delivery of the Business Operations workstream.
✅ Coordinate activities arising from operating model design and refinement.
✅ Translate emerging requirements into actionable work plans.
✅ Support governance forums, reporting, and decision tracking.
✅ Drive business readiness and transition planning activities.
✅ Maintain risk registers, issue logs, and action trackers.
✅ Join the dots between programme workstreams and business operations to ensure seamless execution.

📋 Ideal Background:
We’re looking for someone with experience in large-scale transformation programmes, operating model design, business process redesign, and infrastructure-enabled change. If you’ve worked in science, laboratory/research environments, manufacturing, supply chain logistics, or other asset-intensive organisations where facilities, technology, people, and processes are changing simultaneously—you’ll be a great fit!

📍 Location: Auckland-based with significant onsite presence required due to the nature of the stakeholder group (with some flexibility)
