Team Administrator - fixed term contract until June 2027

We are seeking an experienced Team Administrator to join a large and well-respected public sector organisation on a fixed-term contract through to June 2027. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while providing high-quality administrative support across a busy and collaborative team.
This role offers variety, ownership, and the chance to work alongside a diverse group of stakeholders. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the team while supporting projects, events, financial administration, travel coordination, and key business processes.
About the Role
As the Team Administrator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to managers and wider teams. Key duties will include:
- Diary management and coordination of meetings
- Organising domestic and international travel arrangements
- Preparing agendas, presentations, reports, and meeting minutes
- Coordinating events, workshops, and team functions
- Assisting with recruitment and on-boarding activities
- Supporting contract administration and payment processes
- Processing invoices and maintaining financial records
- Managing information, correspondence, databases, and reporting
- Providing high-quality document formatting, proofreading, and administrative support across the team
- Contributing to process improvements and ensuring efficient business
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a Team Administrator, Coordinator,or similar administrative support position
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities
- Sound financial administration and numeracy skills
- Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- A proactive approach, strong initiative, and the ability to solve problems independently
- Experience within the public sector would be advantageous but is not essential
