Project Manager

A leading New Zealand financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Lead to support a major Cyber Security transformation programme. This is a key role for someone who enjoys working in complex, fast-moving environments where multiple streams of work need to be brought together into clear, coordinated delivery.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a central role in shaping and driving the delivery of critical cyber security initiatives across a large enterprise environment. This role suits someone who is comfortable stepping into ambiguity, bringing structure, and ensuring delivery momentum is maintained across multiple teams.

You’ll be working closely with technical specialists, programme stakeholders, and leadership teams to ensure initiatives are aligned, progressing, and delivering meaningful outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving end-to-end delivery of key technology initiatives within a cyber security programme
• Bringing structure and clarity to complex, multi-stream delivery environments
• Working across technical and business teams to keep delivery aligned and unblocked
• Developing and maintaining delivery roadmaps and execution plans
• Managing dependencies across multiple workstreams and ensuring coordinated progress
• Keeping stakeholders engaged, informed, and aligned throughout delivery cycles
• Supporting consistent execution against agreed priorities and outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Experience delivering technology initiatives within banking or financial services environments
• Strong background in project or delivery management
• Confidence working across complex stakeholder landscapes
• Proven ability to coordinate delivery across multiple interdependent workstreams
• Strong communication skills and a calm, structured approach to delivery

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI or emerging technology delivery in financial services
• Experience working on risk, compliance, or control-focused programmes
• Understanding of governance, risk, and control frameworks
