An opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial and operational leader to step into the role of NZ Country Manager, taking ownership of business performance across the New Zealand grocery and primary industry sector. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, operational capability, and experience leading in complex, fast-paced environments.
What You'll Do
- Lead commercial performance, including revenue, margin, and delivery outcomes
- Oversee pricing, forecasting, production planning, and supply chain optimisation
- Manage and grow key grocery customer relationships and farmer supplier partnerships
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable high-performing teams
- Drive ERP transformation and broader business change initiatives
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across operations, production, and commercial teams
- Lead regular in-market engagement, including national travel and customer visits
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement across efficiency, profitability, and performance
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience in grocery KAM, commercial leadership, or senior business management within FMCG, food, manufacturing, or primary industry environments
- Strong understanding of the NZ grocery sector and customer landscape
- Proven ability across pricing, forecasting, margin management, and operational delivery
- Leadership experience in complex, multisite or manufacturing environments
- Exposure to ERP systems, transformation, or large-scale change initiatives
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
- Willingness to travel nationally as part of the role
