SAP FICO Functional Consultant
We’re seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant for a 12-month fixed-term opportunity, joining a high-performing digital and technology team delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions at scale. This role will see you working across key initiatives, helping shape finance capabilities, drive system enhancements, and support ongoing transformation efforts.
As the SAP FICO Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in translating business needs into robust SAP solutions. You’ll work across the full delivery lifecycle—from requirements gathering and design through to configuration, testing, and support. This role will see you working across key initiatives, helping shape finance capabilities, drive system enhancements, and support ongoing transformation efforts.
You’ll also help optimise existing processes and contribute to the evolving SAP roadmap, ensuring the platform continues to deliver value.
The Role:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into SAP FI/CO solutions
- Configure and implement SAP S/4HANA FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing)
- Support or lead end-to-end delivery, including design, testing, and deployment
- Facilitate workshops, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimisation post go-live
- Collaborate with wider teams to ensure integration across SAP modules and systems
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across finance processes
Ideal Person:
- 8+ years’ experience in SAP FI/CO implementation and support
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA (Fiori/CDS views beneficial)
- Strong functional expertise across finance modules and processes
- Hands-on configuration experience and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Ability to manage priorities and deliver to timelines
