Senior Software Engineer - Pega

What you'll be doing:

You’ll sit at the heart of a high-impact engineering team, contributing to platform and product changes that directly improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Expect to:

• Design and build robust, enterprise-grade backend solutions
• Work across the full delivery lifecycle — from concept through to production
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Contribute to architectural decisions and platform direction
• Support and optimise production systems when required

This is a hands-on senior role where your judgement, not just your code, adds value.

What you'll bring:

You’re a seasoned backend engineer with a strong foundation in Java and Pega, and you’re comfortable navigating complex environments.

Core experience:

• Strong commercial Java experience
• Solid hands-on experience with Pega (ideally 3+ years)
• Advanced SQL skills (Oracle exposure a bonus)
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs

You’ll likely also bring:

• Experience with Spring Boot and modern backend frameworks
• Confidence working across distributed systems and integrations
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps or similar)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with stakeholders
• Financial Services experience
• Exposure to Oracle
