Contract Principal Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading technical design across enterprise API initiatives
• Driving engineering best practices, code quality, and modern delivery standards
• Influencing architecture and cloud adoption strategies
• Supporting the evolution of CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable integrations
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring across engineering teams (without direct people management)

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience in Senior, Lead, or Principal-level .NET Engineering roles
• Strong background designing and delivering APIs in enterprise environments
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native engineering
• Deep understanding of modern software engineering and integration practices
• Ability to influence technical direction and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Exposure to secure engineering and DevSecOps tooling highly regarded
• Financial services or insurance experience is beneficial but not essential
