About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

This position offers exposure to a diverse range of public and/or civil and commercial litigation matters, depending on your area of interest. You will be involved in the full breadth of litigation including conducting research, preparing legal advice, drafting court documents, briefing witnesses and representing clients in court proceedings.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside leading barristers and have direct client contact too.

What you will bring | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu

• 2-10+ years' experience with some of that acquired in private practice
• Admission as a lawyer in New Zealand or another Commonwealth jurisdiction
• Strong advocacy, technical and interpersonal skills
• An ability to navigate complex legal issues with sound judgment and attention to detail.
