What you'll do:
As a Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the work of the Pharmaceutical Funding and Device Funding teams. Your primary focus will be on establishing national agreements and developing market approaches in conjunction with Therapeutic Group Managers or Device Group Managers. You will also collaborate closely with Contract Managers who are primarily focused on monitoring, analysis, and management of contracts. Your ability to develop and run appropriate procurement processes, analyse complex data, manage contract transitions, and adapt to changes in the legislative or policy environment will be key to your success in this role.
Develop and run appropriate procurement processes for procurement activity
Analyse proposals received from suppliers considering commercial, legal, and clinical considerations
Present analysis of proposals to the board or delegate
Manage the transition of approved contracts to the contract management function within the team
Keep appraised of changes in the legislative or policy environment that could impact contracting activities
